Employees at the front desk were very unpolite. For almost the same rate I can stay at the Parkhotel, which is much nicer and friendlier.

The hotel offers reasonably large budget rooms with an extra bed. It has a comfortable location, close to Karlsruhe, the center of Pforzheim, and many restaurants such as McDonald's, KFC.

Despite reviews, room was spacious, quiet (at back of hotel), breakfast was typical German 3*, liked the secure garage even though it was €7 extra. Italian restaurant very good, very generous portions, and served us (though restricted to pizza and salad) even though we arrived less than 10 minutes before they were due to stop serving at 11pm. Excellent for overnight business stay.
